Kung Pao Chicken

Description:
This is a a simple dish with chicken and vegetables that fits to my budget. I can save more time and effort working in the kitchen . It does not not require too many ingredients but definitely love by my family because of its flavor.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kilo boneless chicken thigh/breast , cut into 2cm cubes
  • 2 pcs. zuccini, cut into cubes
  • 1 medium-sized carrot, cut into cubes
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp cayene pepper
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Procedure:
  1. Marinate the chicken in worcestershire sauce, salt and black pepper for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in the wok over medium heat; Add the onion and chicken, stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, or until almost cook.
  3. Add the garlic, carrot and zuccini and stir fry for another 3-5 minutes
  4. Add cayene pepper and oyster sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes. ,
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice   
  6. Option: Chopped peanut can be added to have extra crunch and garnishing.
